NIRSA 2024 Phoenix

Join the fun and promote your institution’s recreation department and programs by entering items that showcase your graphic design and event promotion savvy. Entries are judged on originality, content, graphic design, and overall visual appeal.

The design contest is a philanthropic endeavor that provides friendly competition between NIRSA institutions and serves as an exchange of creative promotion ideas. Ribbons are awarded for first, second, and third places in each category. All winning entries will be displayed Friday afternoon through the close of the conference at the NIRSA Foundation Table near Conference Registration.

The Apparel Sale—part of the annual conference fundraising efforts of the NIRSA Foundation—is always a fun way to find treasures from campuses across the country as well as leading brands like Nike and Under Armour. For the sale to be a success, the Foundation relies on apparel donations from NIRSA members—that’s where you come in!

Does your department have extra apparel? Whether it’s samples from sports brands or printed items for your students, we want your extras! Top sellers include polo shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, performance T-shirts, shorts, and hats! We welcome youth sizes as well! Anything you have on hand will be welcome at the Apparel Sale.

If you know of any colleagues at other campuses who are unable to attend this year’s Annual Conference, consider inviting them to send you apparel so you can bring the items to NIRSA 2024 on their behalf. The more items, the merrier!

Please drop your apparel at the Foundation Table as soon as you can upon arrival in Phoenix! The foundation table will be set up near conference registration.

If you are looking for a great way to support the Foundation and spend a day on a golf course – this fundraising event is for you!  This year’s tournament takes place at the nearby Papago Golf Course on Wednesday, April 17 – teeing off at 7:30am.

Are you early in your campus recreation career? Interested in learning more about the work of the foundation and how we support the NIRSA membership? The Foundation invites you to join your peers for a coffee break (and a little something sweet) Thursday afternoon, at 2:00pm on Patio 2 in the Convention Center.
