This tour kicks off with a visit to the University of Central Florida’s Recreation & Wellness Center, where you’ll experience innovative recreational facilities, including state-of-the-art fitness spaces, aquatic centers, and multipurpose sports courts. Then, travel to the USTA National Campus, a world-class destination for tennis and sports management, and delve into the latest in athletic training and wellness initiatives. Enjoy a refreshing boxed lunch as you head to the Lake Nona Performance Center, an elite training facility offering cutting-edge performance and recovery amenities. This tour provides an engaging look into top-tier wellness and recreation resources in Central Florida.

Think you know Florida? The NIRSA Host Committee and the University of Central Florida are eager to introduce you to the real Florida! Join us for a day of outdoor recreational activities at Little Big Econ State Forest where we’ll explore the trails and paddle the waters of the Econlockhat River! There may even be the chance to take advantage of service opportunities like light trail maintenance and trash removal from the banks of the river. Plan to enjoy a light hike of approximately three miles as well as a short paddle on the river of about the same distance.

Celebrate Florida’s rich cultural heritage and history! Begin with a bus tour through Downtown Orlando where you’ll explore the city’s vibrant arts, architecture, and historic landmarks all while learning about the stories that shaped the heart of Central Florida. The tour continues at the KIA Center, a hub for Orlando milestone events that offers an immersive look into local history and community programs. Next, you’ll visit UCF Downtown, a dynamic campus fostering diverse learning experiences and community engagement. For lunch, enjoy a delicious meal catered by a local Black-owned business that showcases the area’s commitment to supporting Black entrepreneurs. The tour wraps up at the Wells’ Built Museum, a historic African American establishment preserving the cultural legacy of Orlando’s Black community. This tour provides an inspiring and insightful journey into Florida’s cultural history and heritage.

Begin your journey at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where you’ll get an inside look at the stadium’s iconic facilities and hear about its community impact and events. Next, visit the University of Tampa, a vibrant campus with impressive recreational and athletic programs. Enjoy lunch on your own at a nearby location of your choice, then continue to the University of South Florida to tour its modern recreation center and learn about their unique approach to student health and engagement. This tour offers a blend of pro sports and higher-ed recreation insights!
