Break free from sitting and head to the Fitness Forum! It's the perfect place to recharge and refresh with some nourishing movement. Jump into a variety of fun workouts designed to keep you active amid a long day of education sessions.

At the Fitness Forum, part of NIRSA's strategic commitment to health and wellbeing, you'll discover trending workouts, learn new instruction techniques, and connect with fitness enthusiasts from colleges and universities across North America.

Lead a class

We're looking for passionate group fitness instructors to present at the NIRSA 2026 Fitness Forum! This is your opportunity to showcase innovative (or retro!) fitness formats and demonstrate what's trending on your campus.

Fitness Forum classes cover a wide range of formats—from heart-pounding to mind-calming, technical to introductory. Past events have featured everything from HIIT and boxing to dance, running drills, martial arts, yoga, mobility, and everything in between. Have many ideas? Submit more than one proposal!

Proposals are due Tuesday, September 29. Presenters will be notified of their status by early January 2026.

Schedule

Lace up your sneakers and grab a(n optional!) workout buddy for an exciting lineup of classes! Fitness enthusiasts of all levels are welcome. The schedule will be announced in early 2026.
